Springett Bag CARD UNnumbered Plain back, Italy, early 1960's, Baggioli RON SPRINGETT of SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY, Italian issue only.

Plain back, NO adhesion marks, but there is a very slight tear top right corner (as seen from facing).

Otherwise front is GOOD PLUS and back is almost as new

Blades Owls Bruguera Spain From Spain, from c.1958, from the "Sports Encyclopedia" collection of stickers, this exceedingly rare item by Bruguera shows the two Sheffield teams competing! It was not unusual in those days for latin lands to use British footy action on their produce as British football was considered the best in Europe. How things have changed!

Fher1966 Springett Fher-Disgra, 1966 Spanish issue, different from similar issues by Cibels, Fedora & laCaserta. These are from The John Allen archive. John collected for 30 years+ whilst living in Spain and Italy and in that time only 1 or 2 of these came his way.

Manager at Sheffield Wednesday. Notably an FA Cup winner,  also even a BARCELONA MANAGER - one who won the Copa Del Rey with them - and also a manager of AJAX! In fact this is the man behind Johan Cruyff's notion of 'Total Football'. This man is very unjustly forgotten by most. He should be listed as a football legend! The Owls legend Vic Buckingham, here as Barca manager , on a 1970 Spanish sticker (it's a cut-sticker - you can see half of the 'scissor-cut' mark on the rear) by RuiRomer. VERY RARE! £40.00

 HOLD ON!  So, you think you know what this is? Think again. See the little crest, top right, on the sticker ... this is the 2nd rarest 1966 Spanish type, La Caserta, rarer than the extremely rare Cibels Chocolates and much rarer than the Fher issue. These stickers are seldom found in great condition as they came with bottled drinks, and had to be removed from the bottle, behind the paper label, so they are usually damaged in some way with creasing and gum damage to the backs.
