Crescent 1928 Sportsmen From around 1928  this is from the rarest Crescent series, plain backed cards known as "SPORTSMEN". Some cards in this set have sold for as much as £4,000 each! No kidding.

Derby County, McIntyre.  Issued by Crescent Confectionery Co., in Manchester. Extremely rare! Rarer than the Crescent "Footballers" series, this Rams gem IS without doubt one of the rarest Derby footy cards ever issued!

Perhaps 1 of only 2 surviving copies in the world (the other is in a very special collection I know of and will never come up for sale ... not for less than £10,000 anyway. I.E. that Crescent collection will not be broken-down to single cards.  EXTREMELY RARE! Crease to corner otherwise good condition. £150.00
