CARD. Not listed, not recorded, not priced nor
mentioned by any catalogue nor magazine known to us - until here
today. "Prominent Young Players of Season 1924-1925" is the title.
As for the issuer we think it's D.C. Thomson, though we cannot be
sure. We have seen a couple of paper copies(?) or simi9lar types of
these cards but never the original thing, never actual cards before
now. From a John Allen album, from a page with a note added,
written-up by him, when he added these to his collection: 'platinum
rarities - only these few ever seen; bought the lot at £25 each,
from Don, 1994 who sells-off less than perfect trade cards. He'
nuts, these are rarer than most of the cards he keeps. Happy for
