cards but most have not made it to the scanner/editor yet. Here's an
example, near-mint (it's not often you can grade a cigarette card
from 1905 as near-mint but this one is) of an un-catalogued
Cifuentes Pego Partagas card.
Its type has various mentions in World Indices I-V but most are still un-recorded. We have about 10 of this golden type, and various others mostly ranging from nr-mint or excellent down to a few trimmed odds. Offers please. OTHERS from this series will be pictured soon. 1890's KING INSURANCE trade cards : Kings of England, 49 different Victorian trade advertising cards, large (postcard format), here showing just a few. The Cartophillic Society's "British Trade Index", between its 4 volumes (KIG-I) lists only 12 of these cards as known to exist - that shows how rare these are! After 50 years+ the world's greatest cards society knows only 12 ... and here we have 49! A website dedicated to them, run by the world'd top collector of these, had stated that 48 were known, but here, for sale right now, there are 49! These are generally VERY GOOD to better (though 1 or 2 are 'good', and one or two have corner knocks/corner creases) VERY RARE - only 12 are officially known to exist! It's opened along 1 side and 1 end , and a little on another seam (it's opened naturally over the years) so the stickers are visible; they are all of the same series, this set, numbers 125, 197 and 199; one is an action shot; the other 2 are seemingly form a film (martial arts? Enter The Dragon? We do not know but the album issued for this series has Bruce Lee* on the cover (not available from us) so they may be from his films. Unknown. This set contains Scots players from Celtic, Dundee, Ayr, Queen's Park, Hearts, Preston North End, Hibernian, Everton, and many other, mostly Scottish clubs.
